Choiseul Bay Township Climate Change Project

The Climate Change Adaptation Planning for Choiseul Bay Township project assessed current and future hazards for the communities on Taro and Supizae islands. It assessed inundation and coastal erosion risks for the current capital, on Taro Island, and for a proposed expansion site of the capital on the adjacent mainland.

This publication was produced under the Pacific-Australia Climate Change Science Adaptation Planning (PACCSAP) programme.

A technical report and a summary of the project are available. If you would like further detail about the PACCSAP programme please contact the Australian Government Department of the Environment, email: internationalAdaptation@environment.gov.au.
