NCCARF Policy Guidance Brief 5: Challenges of adaptation for local governments

NCCARF’s evidence-based Policy Guidance Briefs address key challenges to effectively adapting Australia to a variable and changing climate, providing high-level policy advice designed for use by policy makers at Commonwealth and State level.

This Policy Guidance Brief deals with the challenges of adaptation for local governments.

The policy guidance provided in this brief was developed based on a workshop held in Melbourne, Victoria. The workshop was attended by local government representatives from across Australia, Paul Burton (Griffith University), Jamie Pittock (Australian National University), Robert Kay (Adaptive Futures) and NCCARF staff.
